Helmer Finding God in Nature- my choice

After reading the story of  man who was on a hike in Austria, it made me realize how much I relate to what he was expalining. During his hike, he was faced with many difficult challenges and faced with the fear of not knowing God was there with him. As he was looking around through nature and at the peaks of the mountains surrounding him, he finally realized that God put him on this journey and it was an experience and challenge he was now willing to face. When out in nature, it is sometimes hard to get into the feeling of God being there with you, but once you get the feeling it won't be lost. I have been able to experience this same thing when out in nature. Looking around and seeing all the beautiful creations of God and the journey he has placed in front of me make the challenges worth facing and conquering. Finding God through nature is one of the most eye-opening feelings and the experiences after that moment are unforgettable. We realize how close God actually is to us all the time and we are shown that he is always there through all the challenges he has placed in front of us.

Lett- Own topic- #1

In reflection of the Pacific Crest Trail video, it's amazing to me how united every hiker seems to be. Once you're on the trail it's as if you are apart of a separate universe. In the normal universe, people are labeled by class or what job they have, but on the trail everyone is of equal status and is treated as human. It's beautiful. I loved listening to what motivated each one of the hikers to finish their journey and i loved seeing the reactions once they did reach the end. While i am not sure if i would be able to go on such a journey, videos like this definitely make one get motivated to complete a big task like this. The other thing that fascinated me was that while it seemed many of the hikers were united and taking this trip together, each journey is specific in it's own right.
