In the piece, "After I Die", by Niti Majethia, she writes beautiful poetry about the words she would say to her significant other regarding her passing away one day. She tells them not to cry when she dies, but rather pray for a better life and to move on. She says that she will be everywhere around them; in the rain, in the sunshine, in the icy snow etc. She says do not be scared because her soul will always be with them. I can relate to this poem. My good friend passed away when I was young, and I still feel her presence in the space around me. I feel her in the wind, I hear her laugh, I remember her everywhere she used to walk. Even though humans pass on to another life. their sprit remains with you and you can always hold onto them until you meet again.
