Riley Block; Spiritual Rambling

Flow is the merging of action and awareness in which there is little distinction between self and the universe. In flow, action flows upon action without thinking, but you are completely aware of every action, only you are not aware of awareness. This leads to getting lost in the journey, which can be compared to getting lost in social media like many find themselves doing today. Flows allows for a type of religious communication and an environmental dialogue in which we are allowed to open up our life story into verbal and non-verbal communication to encounter new possibilities. Flow allows for the clarity of goals, such as short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals could be the day by day miles that are being hiked on the trial, while long-term goals would be completing the whole journey as a thru-hiker. The two words that describe flow are quies and hesychia. Quies means rest and hesychia means sweet repose or interior stillness. Hesychia allows us to reach flow because we are in a state of peace.
