Class at Lion's Gate Bridge

While exploring at Lion's Gate bridge, I noticed on the Magnolia tree, the leaves were shinny on one side, but velvet feeling on the other side. I began to think about an analogy to everyday life. In my life especially, I find myself putting on a smile or a certain act to get through a situation, but have a feeling of dullness inside. I question myself from time to time on why I let myself feel this way, and start to think of the blessings that have been poured upon me and my life. The blessings I take for granted often come to mind, and knowing that numerous people are living in pain and suffering, and I can't be happy with what I have? This is a struggle I pray to God for help in frequently.
