Morningstar Reflection Poem

[topic of choosing-Poem]

This poem was a reflection of thoughts from Jeremiah 29:13.

You surround me/ the sun streaming through the trees/
the birds subtle chirp perched on the ledge/ the silence of each
living plant capturing light and water/
flourishing/
nature bows in reverence to you/ plants and trees stretch there limbs
tall in the sky to reach you/
your all around me now/ breathe in your love/ exhale
the exhaust/ you awake my soul/ I search for
you in the midst of the morning/
in the stillness of the day/ you make yourself known
to me/ the only one that satisfies/
deserving my exhaustive attention/ made whole
in the light of your presence/ I will reach my hands
to you
