Roberts Noland Trail

On Sunday, October 21, I went running on the Noland Trail. I was just trying to stay in shape since our fall practices were over. At first I wasn't paying attention to anything except the music that I had in my headphones to keep me distracted from the thought of actually running, then I started to look around. The trees and the water brought me to reality and made me stop to take in the visuals I had displayed before me. I found myself lost in the wonderful picture that God had created and I began to wonder if I was put here to experience this for a reason rather than just getting in shape. The landscape was breath taking as the sun hadn't long been up and there wasn't anyone one the trail except me. I felt that in that moment I had a spiritual connection with God and my surroundings. What were the feelings? I felt renewed and refreshed about my life and that no matter what God is there for me and will always live me.
