In the book "The Phenomenology of Prayer," the authors, Benson and Wirzba, mentions that "I don't know the first thing about prayer" (13). I feel the same way. In my first few months in Newport News and CNU, I have learned so much more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. An important thing I have learned is that prayer is more than blessing a meal at the family table, or asking for His hand over a difficult situation, prayer is a personal relationship with God and should turn into conversations with God.
