Landscapes #2
God will choose when to reveal themselves unto you. God remains hidden by a mask withing a scenic landscape. When an individual is ready, then they will reveal themselves. But until then, an individual may still struggle and fight to be enlightened and but not yet able to encounter the divine. The author discusses how some natural landscapes can disguises for the holy.
I feel like this relates back to the axiom section of the book. Only when an individual stops projecting their own forefront consciousness onto their surrounding environment can a person discover the divine.
It is an interesting idea to compare this thought, which is focused on nature and wilderness, to man made cathedrals and temples for organized religion. One is very individualistic and the other is essentially community and culture based.
