Lett- outside readings #3

  • “The unexamined life is not worth living” – Socrates. This quote is simple, yet powerful. I believe as college students, many of us live a life of simplicity and living in the moment. We are given an opportunity to obtain knowledge that 70% of the US is not able to gain access to. As college students we can be major influences and major contributes to society. We need to take advantage of the opportunity we have to learn as much as we can to be an influence to the younger generations that life has a bigger purpose. This class has shown me that life has so much more to offer in the simpler things like nature. We need to examine ourselves and the life we live and make sure the things we are participating in are relevant to bettering ourselves and others.
